Export Wizard Improvements
✨ What's Improved
Several enhancements to the export system making it more consistent, informative, and manageable.
Markdown Export Quick View
The Export as Markdown wizard now includes the same quick view (eye icon) that was already available in the ChatGPT export. You can now preview any library template or uploaded document directly within the Markdown export wizard before deciding to include it.
GPT Export "Save for Export"
The ChatGPT Custom GPT export wizard now supports "Save for this export" on knowledge files. Previously, you could only view files — now you can make inline edits and save them specifically for the current export without modifying the source file.
Template Input Hover Cards
In the Prompt Builder workflow, the "X inputs" badge on each template now shows a hover card listing all input variables with their labels and whether they're required. This helps you understand what data a template needs before selecting it.
The hover card is also role-aware:
- Admins see a link to manage template inputs in Settings
- Non-admins see a message that input options are managed by the admin
Admin Template Management
A new Templates tab has been added to Settings (visible to admins only). From here, admins can:
- View all prompt templates grouped by content type
- Edit variable labels, types, and required status
- Changes apply project-wide for all team members
